YOGA FOR A CAUSE: THE ANGEL BAND PROJECT YOGA EVENT

3:00-4:00 PM at YogaSource (Doors open at 2:30 pm)
$10 minimum donation requested
At this special "mini yoga retreat," we will practice various
asanas set to the music of The Angel Band Project “Take you with me” benefit CD.
This CD honors the life of Teresa Butz,
a native of St. Louis, who was brutally raped and murdered in her home by a
stranger in Seattle on July 19, 2009.
The CD features songs of healing and hope as expressed through the
voices of Teresa’s musically gifted family, friends, and her partner, who was also severely
injured in that same attack.
Proceeds from this class will be donated to The Angel Band Project in
their commitment to helping survivors of sexual violence through The Voices and
Faces Project, their beneficiary.
Kathy Vanderselt will lead a power vinyasa class in Studio B, and Emmet Schmelig will lead a yin/restorative class in Studio A. Healthy refreshments will be served for everyone following
the practice, and Angel Band Project CD’s and T-shirts will be available for sale.
